식품의약품안전청(청장 노연홍)은 美 FDA에서 허가되지 않은 의약품이 국내에 유통되고 있다는 정보가 있다며 소비자의 주의가 요구된다고 27일 밝혔다.
미국에서 회수중인 Regrowth사(社)의 발모제 미녹시딜 등 16개 제품은 국내에는 정식으로 수입 및 유통된 적이 없는 제품들로써, 소비자가 위해 우려가 있는 해당제품을 인터넷을 통해 구입하거나 사용하지 않도록 주의가 요구된다.
식약청 관계자는 “인터넷 검색을 통해 불법 유통되는 제품이 있는지 확인하고 지방청에 해당제품에 대한 지속적인 모니터링을 강화해 추가적인 후속조치를 결정하겠다”고 밝혔다.
현재 미국 Regrowth사가 회수 중인 제품목록은 식약청 홈페이지(www.kfda.go.kr)/위해정보공개/외국위해의약품 게시판에서 확인 가능하다.
